Be ready for a rock 'n' funk extravaganza as these gentlemen from the Big Easy lay down some of the funkiest tunes this side of the Mississippi. With three trombones on the frontline, their sound is so big that you will want to throw beads. Their rendition of Black Sabbath's War Pigs, complete with a trombone covering Ozzy's vocals, is an epic display of cross genre performance. Bonerama takes New Orleans funk to the extreme by thinking outside of the box while sticking close to the 'Nawlins archetype.
This is one of the funkiest, hardest rocking, most creative bands out there right now that you've GOT to see to believe.

After national tours with Sheryl Crow, Jewel and Willie Nelson, a record deal with Atlantic Records, & a four year gig as band leader for the Last Call with Carson Daly show, Firstman moved to the surfing enclave south of LA called El Porto & wrote an album's worth of material titled after the town. The rise of TV news was discussed endlessly in the 1960s, but only writer-director-cameraman Haskell Wexler was stirred up enough to make a movie on the topic. This 1969 classic follows a TV cameraman (Robert Forster) who is assigned to cover the 1968 Democratic Convention and who sees first hand how TV was starting to make news as well as documenting it. Wexler kept his script loose so that his cast of actors could head into the real events surrounding the turbulent gathering in Chicago. The result is a riveting combination of drama and documentary unlike any other film ever released by a major Hollywood studio.

The Fab Faux are without a doubt the most musically satisfying Beatles tribute band on the scene today. Boasting the high visibility of TV star/musicians Will Lee from The Late Show with David Letterman and Jimmy Vivino from Late Night with Conan O'Brien, this is the band to see if you want to know what it might have been like if The Beatles toured behind their later albums. With a full horn and string section, The Fab Faux don't just play the easy stuff, they flawlessly recreate songs the Beatles themselves never performed live. Even if you were lucky enough to see the Beatles live, this will be something different -- the equivalent of the later Beatles concert that never was. So, for Beatles fans (and music fans), the choice is clear: If you want to hear songs recreated that were written, arranged, and performed with a genius and talent sadly missing from today's music scene; if you're too young to remember what all the fuss was about; or if you just want to see one of the best live rock bands performing today, look no further than The Fab Faux....
